Power Sports Tech manufactures a high-flow intake system specifically engineered for the demanding conditions encountered in snow bike applications. Through extensive field testing, we identified a common issue with many factory airbox designs: during deep-powder riding, snow can accumulate inside the airbox, restricting airflow to the carburetor or throttle body and negatively impacting engine performance.
In addition, temperature differences between the engine compartment and ambient air can create an icing effect on pre-filters. This can cause snow and moisture to freeze onto the filter surface, reducing airflow and further limiting engine performance in extreme winter conditions.
The PST High-Flow Intake System eliminates these concerns by replacing the restrictive factory airbox with an open, high-velocity intake design. This configuration promotes unrestricted airflow while minimizing the opportunity for snow accumulation around the air filter.
